The FIDECO hard drive adapter is engineered with USB 3.0 port and can offer data transfer speeds up to 5Gbps. It can also be backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1. For new hard drive, please go to "Disk Management" to initialize it first, and then your hard drive can be recognized. If 2.5" and 3.5" IDE hard drives are connected simultaneously, you need to set jumper. The default master is 2.5" IDE hard drive, so you need to set jumper for 3.5" IDE hard drive and set it to slave.

For Mac OS, the format needs to be set to exFat. Please backup all your data before formatting your HDD. Thanks to the USB 3.0 interface, the maximum data transfer speed can reach 5Gbps. Transfer large files within seconds! The transfer speed is largely determined by the performance of your HDD/SSD and computer. The mentioned maximum speed of 5Gbps is just for reference.
